What does a CRM migration actually involve?
Three stages: extracting everything out of the old CRM and validating it, configuring the new system around how your business sells, then loading the data and reconciling it against the source. The extraction is the stage most projects underestimate.
Which CRMs do you migrate from and to?
Most often Maximizer to Microsoft Dynamics 365. We also extract from Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, ACT!, Sage CRM, on-premise SQL databases and spreadsheets. If a system exports a file or exposes an API, its data can be moved.
Can we get our data out without migrating to a new CRM?
Yes. A clean, structured export stands on its own — for compliance, for a backup before decommissioning a server, or simply to stop paying licence fees on a system nobody uses.
